Southwest Communication Systems, dba Rio Grande Radio Communications founded in 2001, offering 26 years of experience with Motorola technology. Rio Grande Radio Communications first started as a repair only operation, but soon grew to include sales of certain Motorola, Kenwood, and Icom radios. In addition Rio Grande Radio Communications sells accessories for these products, including batteries, antennas, headsets, chargers, and more. To round out our services we also offer rentals of Motorola SP-50 radios. Rio Grande Radio Communications rents by the day, week, or month, for needs including communications at conventions, security operations, public functions, construction sites, and for other requirements.
Our staff has over 30 years in 2-way radio technologies. They have repaired several generations of radios, most recently the latest models of Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, Maxon, and others. Rio Grande Radio Communications shop is "state of the art technology." Our repairs are prompt, complete, and cost effective. Rio Grande Radio Communications client list has grown to include many major hotels, gaming casinos, and manufacturing plants, in and around the greater Albuquerque/Santa Fe metropolitan area. Our company continues to grow, and we now receive an increasing number of radios for repair from out of New Mexico. Customers simply find it easy to put their radios in a box and sent them UPS to our shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
